5/11/2003 This is from Stacy Harris
about her Piper. Monday- Piper earns his OA with a first place.
He NQ's in Open JWW. Tuesday- Moves up to Excellent Std. He manages
to come off the A frame limping. He is pulled from agility. Must
have stubbed a toe, he was fine soon after I took him out of the
ring. Wednesday- Third place in Novice B with a 192.5. Don't ask
about the score, you will never hear the end of it ; ( Friday-
Beauty contest. Third place in Open Dogs, erect ear. A very pleasant
surprise. Sunday- Second place after a run-off for first in Open
A. His first CDX leg with a 194.5. Dumped in the breed ring. By
the time we got to the run-off, Piper was pooped after the 7 day
long dog show so I can only blame the heeling on that : ) Anyway
I was thrilled with his first go in the AKC Open ring. From what
I can tell he was one of only two dogs to show in EVERYTHING and
the only one to get placements in all three venues. I am so proud
of my little guy!
